Your role as Configuration Specialist
As a Configuration Specialist, you will manage business rules for employee benefit orders, employee benefit types, and employer contributions of new and existing international/global client portals. You will own the whole process from creation to configuration as well as make updates in our client portals, which can be anything from setting up new clients, configuring and updating company structures, contact persons, and administrations permissions if we would give you a handful of examples of the diversity in tasks you will have in this position.

In this position, you will be a part of an internal project team, consisting of various nationalities and competences. You will be responsible for ensuring that the client portal reflects the eligibility rules of the client and that reporting processes and financial flows are efficient and compliant with local tax regulations. As a Configurations Specialist, you will be involved in client-specific projects such as process improvements, terminations, changes of payroll system/ERP as well as company merges and splits.

In this position you will also: 

  • Ensure efficient and timely payroll and financial reporting processes, including payroll, accounting orders, expense invoices, and balance reconciliation when clients are handed over to BAU 
  • Connect global pages to client portals (My Compensations, My Budget, File upload pages, etc.) 
  • Set up the recruitment tool/candidate portal 
  • Create and adjust the welcome page, including widgets, promoted element, message box, etc.

Do we have you on the hook yet? Good! Here’s what we are looking for in our next Configuration Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent 
  • Relevant work experience as a Financial Assistant, Administrator, Configuration Specialist, or similar 
  • Basic knowledge of accounting rules, tax rules, and wage types 
  • Proficient in Swedish, English - and additional Nordics language is meritorious  

As always, your personal competencies are the most important to us. To succeed in this role, you need to be a superstar in collaboration with internal and external contacts. We see that you are communicative, possess great social skills, and are great at prioritizing between tasks.  Finally, you are an analytical person who loves to problem solve.
