Business Manager

We are now looking for a Business Manager to be responsible for Benify’s office in Lithuania, which is supporting the operational parts of our global markets. The Vilnius office is home to over 30 highly skilled professionals, reporting to 10 different cross-country functions. Main responsibilities 

As Business Manager, your main objective will be to ensure that the right conditions are in place for the Vilnius office, to provide great deliveries to our clients. You will do so by providing an open, helpful, fun, professional and friendly environment, where our skillful team members can thrive. Additionally, you will identify and drive strategic initiatives for growth, focusing on scalability as well as new client and market needs. By positioning Benify as a great employer, you will also support Benify in attracting top talents. Besides being a Benify culture role model, you are also a leader supporting our matrix organization and the 10 function managers; located in other countries; with local presence, compliance and growth. You will also have a few employees reporting directly to you.  

This position is located in Vilnius but travel will be required to Benify’s HQ in Stockholm, Sweden a few times a year. You will report to Head of Operations and be part of the Operations Management Team. 

In the position you will also: 

• Collaborate closely with function managers with team members in Vilnius 
• Encourage a culture of self-leadership, pro-activity and client orientation 
• Lead and support your direct reports in performance management and annual salary reviews  
• Office facility management including compliance, consumables and payroll admin support

As Business Manager, you are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong personal interest in leading the culture. You will act as an inspiring role model at the Vilnius office, where building relationships and cooperating with others will be key in your success. As a person you are positive and outgoing, people often comes to you for guidance and where you take on a coaching approach. You enjoy daily interactions and you invest time to get to know your colleagues. 

As the great communicator you are, being the eyes and ears for the functions comes naturally for you, always ensuring well being and motivation at the office. Furthermore, you have a strong business focus with a warm heart, where you are used to make good business cases and engage others to help you execute. We see that you are operationally driven and are intrigued by the exciting challenge to drive change and take our office in Vilnius to the next level!

We also see that you have: 

• A university degree within Management, Business Administration, HR or similar 
• 2-5 years’ leadership experience, focusing on operational and strategic tasks 
• Fluent knowledge in English and Lithuanian is a requirement 

If you also have experience from a Start-up/Fin-Tech/HR-Tech or a Tech company and/or experience working at and international company, it’s a big plus!

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania. We offer a hybrid workplace. However, you are expected to work mainly from the office, to be able to lead culture through practice in this role.
