About the role 

As Legal Counsel, you will work broadly and handle all legal matters concerning the Benify Group, but with a special focus on our SaaS-agreements and privacy law in the Nordics. You will be part of the Legal team, which consists of three people: Head of Legal, one Legal Counsel and a Paralegal. 
 
You will for example: 

• Draft and set the standard for our commercial agreements and support in contracting with new clients 
• Support towards current clients in legal matters that may arise during the lifetime of a client agreement 
• Conduct legal research for new products or agreement structures 
• Take part in Benify’s Data Protection Group together with the rest of the Legal team 
• Work closely with various stakeholders at Benify, such as supporting Sales, Client Success and Marketplace with incoming queries 
• Support in private RFP:s and public procurement processes 

As we are on a growth journey, the possibilities are endless to take on more complex tasks independently. Over time, it will also be possible to grow into a more Senior Legal Counsel role.

You are a proactive solution-finder who can identify risks and communicate your message in an insightful and clear manner. To be successful at Benify, you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to change as our organizational needs shift. You are happy to share your legal expertise with others and are looking for new ways to achieve results. You will be working in a smaller legal team, which means being a team player is crucial. With your open-minded approach and strong will to learn you aim to lead the business towards success.  

We also see that you have: 

• A Law degree (LLM) or business law degree  
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience of drafting commercial agreements, for example as Associate at a law firm or as an in-house Legal Counsel 
• Experience of privacy law and/or commercial IT agreements is advantageous, but not a requirement 
• Professional language proficiency in Swedish and English
